1935 SS Cars SS90 Tourer

SS Cars Ltd, now know as Jaguar built a total of 53 of these automobiles. This 1935 SS 1 Tourer example is one of seventeen with the six-cylinder side-valve 2663cc engine. This example was dispatched on December 26, 1935 from SS Cars Ltd, Coventry, England to British Motor Cars Ltd, New York City. The automobile is noted for its long and low rakish coachwork, elaborate armchair seating, and sporting wire wheels with a chrome outer rim. The 1930's advertising slogan was '1000 pound looks....for 310 pounds.'

This example is the only known example running on its original R.A.G. carburetors and is known for being an authentically restored example.
