1952 OSCA MT4 Navigation
Officine Specializzate Costruzioni Automobili (OSCA) founded in 1947 in Bologna by the Maserati brothers who left their own firma 10 years earlier. OSCA was sold in 1967 to MV Agusta. Maserati Tipo 4 cilindri (MT4) - 1092cc, 72 horsepower at 6,000 RPM from a Fiat-derived block and their own aluminum head, to grow ultimately to 1,453cc - was installed in a whole series of neat, lightweight and fast barchettas and berlinettas. This early, class winning race car has the atypical Osca nose and vertical slatted grille and fast-sloping tail. Perhaps 72 MT4s were built.
