1966 Mercedes-Benz 300SE Navigation
Under the hood is a fuel-injected, 2996cc, single overhead cam, 6-cylinder pumping out 185 horsepower at 5,200 RPM and 205 lb-feet of torque at 4,000 RPM. These big, hand finished cabriolets were built to transport four adults in great comfort and style and do better than just keeping up with the traffic. A quoted 118 mph top speed and possible 19 mpg were rather impressive. I 1966 Mercedes-Benz of North America Inc. sold nearly 16,500 cars. Only 708 300 SE Cabriolets were built in total between 1962 and 1967, making this grand car extremely rare in modern times.
