The high-volume Packard One-Twenty lineup in 1935 brought Packard ownership to a wider market while preserving the company's reputation for reliability and quality. They had an X-braced frame, hydraulic brakes, full-synchromesh transmission, and an inline eight-cylinder engine. In terms of style, the One-Twenty models were virtually identical in appearance to their 'Senior' counterparts. They had a modern streamlined design theme, raked radiator grilles, comprehensive instrumentation, and a comfortable and well-appointed interior.
This particular example is a Convertible Coupe. Little is known is of its early history. It was formerly the property of a CCCA member and Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance judge. He required it as a fully restored example of an original car.
In 2005, the car was sold to the current owner.
