1963 Plymouth Belvedere V8 HardTop Coupe

The 1963 Belvedere was Plymouth's full-size, middle-priced car. They had colored molding that ran along the bodyside along with Belvedere script at mid-fender behind the front wheel cutout. Belvederes could be purchased with the Slant Six or base V-8 engines. Standard equipment included front foam seats, cigar lighter, and rear armrests. Bodystyle included a 2- and 4-door sedan, hardtop coupe, and a 6- or 9-passenger station wagon.

This 1963 Plymouth Belvedere Hardtop is powered by an original 426 Max Wedge, high compression 13.5:1 Stage 1 engine mated to a 3-speed manual gearbox. It is one of just 18 examples originally built with this combination and it still wears the factory original color combination of Red with Alabaster interior. The original Broadcast Sheet and Fender Tag show a scheduled production date of November 05, 1962, and shipped November 26, 1962.

This car has not been restored; it has just been repaired and maintained over the years to keep it in as original condition as possible. Highlights include a complete ownership history, original 1963 TMP-426 HC Max Wedge engine with dual Carter AFB 4 barrel #3447s carburetors on a Cross Ram manifold, original T-85 BorgWarner 3-speed manual transmission, factory installed exhaust system with cutouts, and original interior.
