Stoewer originally built only 20 of these automobiles with an aluminum engine block. It is front-wheel drive with a V8 2.5 liter engine. There are four known Greifs remaining, but this is the only one with an aluminum engine block. Greif means Griffin and the Greif was the last model to be developed under the leadership of Bernhard Stoewer, one of the founders of Stoewer Brothers Stettin Automobiles. From a technical view, the car is very advanced for its time which makes it extremely interesting to the classic car enthusiast.
