1969 Ferrari NART Spyder 365 Grintosa Navigation
This Ferrari NART Spyder 365 Grintosa was designed by Luigi 'Coco' Chinetti. Chinetti, an Italian-American, was Maranello's first importer and dealer in the United States, along with being the founder of the North American Racing Team (NART). Grintosa translates to aggressive in a sporting fashion. The Spyder originates from a 365 GTC version built in Maranello, Italy. The chassis, engines and frames are from the 365 GTC with the coachwork performed by Carrozzeria Autosport of Bachelli & Villa in Bastiglia.
The design of these NART Spyder's is similar to the 512 BBLM models of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
This car has been treated to a restoration which was performed by Autosport in Modena, Italy, under Ferrari Official Customer Service Center.
