1900 De Dion Bouton Vis-A-Vis Vis-A-Vis Voiturette

This 1900 DeDion-Bouton vis-a-vis (referring to the face-to-face seating configuration) was the brainchild of Count de Dion and his brother-in-law, Mr. Bouton.

The De Dion Company of France was the elite and most successful motor company of the day. They produced complete cars as well as supplying engines and other mechanical components to most of the auto manufacturers of the day.

This car is all original, even retaining the original elephant skin hides. It was one of the earliest vehicles produced with a reverse gear. The car has successfully completed many London-to-Brighton Veteran Car runs, an event which is billed as the 'Everest of Motoring.'
