1967 BMW 1600 GT Coupe

This example was originally owned by Mr. Archie Walker, who was the owner of the BMW franchise in Minneapolis at the time. In August of 1968, the vehicle was sold to Mr. Walter Zibell of Dellwood, Minnesota who stored the car for much of his tenure. In April of 1979 with just 13,000 miles on the odometer, Mr. Zibell sold the car to another individual. In 1982 and at 19,000 original miles, the car was sold to a Colorado-based BMW collector who became the fourth owner of this rare 1600 GT.

The car was given an exterior refinish and re-chroming of the exterior bright-work.

The engine is a 1573cc single overhead cam four-cylinder engine fitted with twin Solex carburetors and offering 105 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual gearbox with disc brakes in the front and hydraulic drums in the rear.
