1931 Jordan Motor Model 90 Navigation
Ned Jordan established the Jordan Motor Car Company in Cleveland, Ohio in 1916. It was an assembled car with the look of a custom vehicle, while using the highest quality standard components in the industry - Continental engine, Bosch ignition, Stromberg carburetion, Fedders radiator, Bijur electrics, Gemmer steering, etc. In 1919 Jordan introduced its most celebrated model, the Playboy. Jordan produced about 65,000 cars through 1931 when, like so many other companies, it became a victim of the Great Depression.

The most important legacy for which Ned Jordan became known was his advertising copy and likely, the most famous ad in automotive history, 'Somewhere West of Laramie.'

The current owner has restored this vehicle twice, with all the work having been done personally in their own shop.

The 1931 Model 90 was powered by an eight-cylinder engine offering 85 horsepower and was available in either 125- or 131-inch wheelbase sizes. Several body styles were available, including a coupe, convertible coupe, sport sedan, 5- and 7-passenger sedan, touring car, limousine, Speedboy dual cowl phaeton, and playboy.

1931 was the final year of the Jordan Motor Car Company. They entered receivership and - using spare parts - and additional 262 vehicles were built during final liquidation in 1932. During the company's lifespan, it produced over 65,000 cars.
