1945 MG TC Roadster

This MG TC was a pre-war car (MG TB) with minimal modifications. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful, timeless sports car designs. In 1951, it was one of eight automobiles chosen by the NY Museum of Modern Art for classic design. It has been named 'The Sports Car America Loved First'. Most of the production of the 10,000 were exported to the United States, even though it was only available in right-hand drive.

This particular car was the 6th produced, made in September 1945, only four months after the end of World War II in Europe. MG loved their products, and would pull a car off the line to photograph it at each stage of production. This car is the one that was chosen to be photographed.

It underwent a five year, meticulous restoration to absolute authenticity. The colors are correct, even all of the electrical components are date stamped 1945.
