1958 Dodge Custom Royal Series 2 Door Lancer Hardtop

In the 1958 Dodge range of Swept-Wing Lancers, the Custom Royal Lancer was top-of-the-line. For 1958, design chief Virgil Exner's trendsetting styling of the previous year was lightly updated with new colors, re-arranged chrome trim and a switch to quad headlamps in every model.

This Custom Royal Lancer coupe is finished in Paris Rose, a mid-year 'Spring Edition' color. This 'space-age' Dodge is as powerful as it is beautiful, thanks to the rare and desirable Super D500 engine. The Super D500 option consisted of dual four-barrel carburetors on a 361 cubic-inch V8. The advertised horsepower rating was 320.

The current owner pursued this car for 10 years before he acquired it. Although otherwise fully restored, the car proudly features its original interior.
