Built just outside of Detroit, this lightweight (2,875 lbs) all-carbon fiber/Kevlar body utilizes an aluminum monocoque chassis with carbon/Kevlar structural cored panels. The F7 features a Penske High-performance coil over pushrod suspension. The V8 engine is a Lingenfelter Twin Turbo high-performance motor with 1,200 horsepower with a heavy-duty, high-performance 6-speed transaxle with a dual disc clutch system. The 0 to 60 time is 3.3 seconds and the top speed is over 200mph.
Crafted almost entirely out of aluminum, carbon fiber, and Kevlar, it weighs in at just 2,850 pounds. Additional features include a Penske high-performance coil over pushrod suspension, Brembo carbon/ceramic disc brakes with 6-piston 15.5-inch rotors in the front along with 4-piston 15-inch rotors in the rear. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires wrap the 20-inch Forgeline wheels built specifically for the Falcon. These wheels measure 10 inches wide in the front and 13 inches wide in the rear.
There is an exposed carbon fiber weave throughout the vehicle, including the underside of the hood, wheel wells, inner doors, deck-lid structure, storage boxes, sill panels, front spoiler, and door sills.
Inside the cabin is an integrated roll hoop and high-performance, lightweight adjustable back racing-style leather seats.
The Falcon F7 was first shown as a concept vehicle at the 2011 North American International Auto Show and the first production model to be sold was displayed at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. The production of the Falcon F7 will be a maximum of 12 per year.
This is the only F7 produced with Carbon Ceramic brakes and the twin-turbo turbocharged hand-built engine.
