1926 Ford Model T Navigation
It was not uncommon in the 1920s for a Ford Model T to be 'hopped up' by its owner - and here is such an example. The transformation was applied to the car's mechanics as well as to its appearance.
This Model T features a boattail body kit made by the Murray Body Company of Louisville, Kentucky. The kit included a dropped front axle, kick-ups to lower the rear of the frame, special radiator and shell, five-piece hood and cycle fenders.
The car's Model T engine was modified with overhead valve systems. This Mercury features a special Rajo cylinder head and Zenith carburetor. It took the current owners 30 years to find the correct parts to restore this car.
