Pierce-Arrow motorcars were introduced in 1901 and in a short time, the company had achieved what would be a lasting reputation as a manufacturer of top-of-the-line motorcars. The company's offices and manufacturing facilities were located in Buffalo, New York.
The Model 80 had been introduced in 1925 as Pierce-Arrow began offering motorcars in two price ranges. The Model 80 was built on a 130-inch wheelbase chassis while the Model 33 came on a 138-inch wheelbase chassis. Both were powered by six-cylinder motors.
This Four Door Coach was built on a 130-inch wheelbase and had conservative styling - a trademark of the company. Pierce-Arrow production began to increase in 1925; a total of 5,836 cars were sold in 1927.
