1955 Austin-Healey 100 Navigation
The first series Austin-Healey 100 was designated the BN1 and was built between May 1953 and July 1955. Some 10,000 examples were built. The same 2660cc, 90 horsepower, 4-cylinder that had powered the Austin A90 sedan, with a modified 3-speed with overdrive (on 2nd and 3rd), made the Healey 100 a genuine 100 mph open 2-seat sports car in the British tradition. In 1955 the 100M model was offered alongside the standard BN7 through July of 1956. The M-Mods were also offered as the Le Mans Engine Modification Kit. This example has the kit installed, resulting in 100 plus horsepower.
