1956 Austin-Healey 100-4 BN2 Navigation
The Austin-Healey 100, built between 1953 and 1956, was based on the 2660cc, 4-cylinder, 3-speed plus overdrive, drive train of the 1949 Austin Atlantic, a sedan and convertible 'designed for America.' The Healey could reach 100 mph in quick time - Donald Healey selected the name accordingly. Jensen Motors in West Bromwich built the body-on-chassis and shipped them to Longbridge for drive train installation.
This car has been converted from BN2-L to 100M spec. It has larger carburetors, a highlift camshaft, cold air box, and 8.1:1 high compression pistons resulting in 110 horsepower at 4500 RPM.
