1916 Pierce-Arrow Model 38-C 4-Passenger Touring

This Model 38 Four-Passenger Touring is sometimes referred to as a 'Walk-Through Speedster' because of its divided front bucket seats. The body was formed of cast aluminum, with numerous coats of paint. The car spent nearly 4 decades in the care of Bill Harrah in Reno, Nevada. After his passing, it was sold to W.G. Thompson of Tamworth, New Hampshire. The current owner acquired it in 2010.

The car is finished in dark blue paint with black leather front seats with the rear seats re-upholstered in matching vintage leather. It has a full-length, lined folding top that was copied from its sister car. The car has participated in five Paso Robles Tours on California's Central Coast.

It is believed that this car is one of only three remaining Model 38 Four-Passenger Touring Models. The engine is a 414.7 cubic-inch 6-cylinder, T-head unit that offers 72 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel mechanical drum brakes.
