1981 Ferrari 512BB Navigation
The Ferrari 512BB is a late-production example that has only 16,430 original miles. It was refinished ten years ago in period-correct Rosso Corsa red over black. There are red leather with black inserts and the car rides on new tires.
The Ferrari 5-liter, 12-cylinder engine provided additional displacement over the 365BB that it replaced. Other refinements given to the 512BB included a wider rear track, wider and longer body, lower front air dam and NACA ducts to force more air to the brakes. 1981 was the final year for the Weber-carbureted engine, as fuel-injection was phased into production during the year.
