1959 Ford F-100 Styleside Pickup

The 1959 Ford F-100 models were given a mild facelift with a new hood that featured the Ford name on its face in large block letters. The grille had thick horizontal bars that housed rectangular, not round, parking lamps. The front fenders featured a different Ford F-100 nameplate and a new option was four-wheel drive. The F-100 came in two lengths, the 6.5-feet and 8 foot sizes. Standard features included Hi-Dri ventilation, Nylon-polyethylene-saran seat upholstery, toggle-type tailgate latches, three-speed manual transmission, and double acting shock absorbers.

This 1959 F-100 shows just 36,000 miles on the odometer. It has been given a ground-up restoration and refinished in Goldenrod Yellow. It is an upmarket Custom Cab with the western-type rear bumper. It was given the optional 200-brake horsepower V8, a Holley carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, 'Power King' valve covers, and a ram's horn intake manifold. It rides on wide whitewall bias-ply B.F. Goodrich tires which are wrapped around painted white steel wheels that have stainless steel trim rings and center caps.
