1953 Ford F-100 Navigation
The new Ford F-1, introduced in 1948, was the company's first new post-war vehicle and one of the first pickup trucks to be designed with both practicality and aesthetics in mind. It had a stylish body with incredible functionality that could be driven down Main Street or on the farm. The second generation of the F-1 was introduced in 1953 and was named the F-100.
This Ford F-100 was originally built with the optional flathead V-8 engine, and it is still powered by a flathead, which has been mated to the standard three-speed transmission. The pickup was restored in 2008 and finished in Flamingo Red.
