Horse-Drawn Wagon
Sold for $4,400 at 2014 RM Auctions - Hershey.
The first half of the 20th century was a breeding ground for innovation and experimentation. One such example was the International Columbus, an intermediate model wagon with ornate striping. It had a similar appearance to a horse-drawn wagon which were the backbone of American agriculture throughout the first half of the 20th century.

This particular example is finished in green, with complementing black and gold striping, fine white pinstriping on the body, and red undercarriage wheels. In 2003, it was donated to the AACA Museum in 2003, at which time it was equipped with modern wheels. A complete restoration of the wagon was undertaken, and it was brought to period-correct appearance, with correct-style wheels.

It is believed to be a 1907 model. In 2014, it was brought to RM Auction's sale in Hershey where it found new ownership for the sum of $4,400 including buyer's premium.
