1949 Triumph 2000 Roadster

The 1949 Triumph 2000 Roadster was not originally imported to the United States. In total, just 2,501 examples were built between 1948 through 1949. This example was imported to North America in 2001 by the current owner, who acquired it in 2000. The owner undertook a total frame-off restoration that was completed in 2011. The car was completely disassembled for the restoration with the body stripped to bare metal and refinished in Richelieu (Cardinal Red) with an Ivory leather interior. All mechanical systems were restored, including a professional rebuild of the original 2,088cc inline-4 cylinder engine, a totally renewed braking system, rebuilt gearbox, rebuilt steering box, a restored suspension, and new electricals. The car has the original jack and spare, and a complete original tool set.
