1961 Morgan Plus Four Roadster

The Morgan Plus 4 was produced from 1950 through 1969. In comparison to the 1950 Morgan 4/4 model, the +4 was more powerful and slightly longer. Body styles included a drophead coupe, a roadster, or a 2+2 roadster. By the late 1950s, the width of the Plus 4 had grown by four inches, and the fuel tank in the two-seater models had been moved farther down in the chassis. By 1960, disc brakes in the front replaced the original front/rear drum setup. The engine was an overhead-valve four-cylinder model from the Triumph TR2. It was a 121.5 cubic-inch overhead valve unit that offered 90 horsepower. By the late 1950s, power had risen to 100 bhp.

This example has been given a professional restoration. It has wire wheels, two carburetors, a 4-speed manual gearbox, a silver grey exterior with a maroon interior, original white-faced instruments, and a bumper-mounted Lucas running lamp.
