2000 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Sedan

The new redesigned Mercedes-Benz S-Class arrived in spring of 1999 as an early 2000 model. They emphasized luxury and came with an eight-cylinder engine. They had a new 1-piece headlight and came as a 4-door sedan with seating for five passengers. Pricing began at just under $70,000 for the S430 while the S500 listed for nearly $78,000. The 260 CID found in the S430 offered 275 horsepower while the S500 had an all-aluminum dual-overhead-cam V8 that offered 350 horsepower.

The new S-Class sedan was lighter and smaller on the outside but offered slightly more interior room. They offered safety, comfort and convenience features with eight airbags as standard. Other safety features included electronic stability control, brake assist and anti-lock brakes.

This particular S430 has just 16,000 miles on its odometer.
