This fully documented Autodelta GTA 1600 Corsa series number AR 613.883 was entered by Alfa Romeo's factory owned racing team Autodelta, SpA run by Ing. Carlo Chiti as an Ex-Works factory team car. Autodelta registered this car on June 7th of 1967 in Milano, Italy. Alfa Romeo/Autodelta entered '883' with all the well-known factory Autodelta drivers on the world's stage of the largest most prominent FIA European Touring Car Championship (ETCC) & FIA European Mountain Hill-Climb Championship races in Europe in the period. Its race history is also very special and one, if not the most, prominent and successful GTA 1600's Corsa's in Alfa Romeo/Autodelta history. '883' was not only entered in the most premier internally sanctioned races but also produced outstanding results and top place finishes for the Alfa Romeo/Autodelta factory team.
