1976 Dodge Aspen Navigation
This Dodge was purchased by Marvin S. Lam for his wife Harriet in 1976 as the car carrier pulled up to the dealership. This was a new model introduced by the Chrysler Corporation to succeed the Dart.

Mrs. Lam drove the Dodge a total of 24,000 miles, she then could no longer drive. However, she would not let her husband sell the Dodge and when she died in 2005 her husband gave it to the local Ford dealer to sell. Mr. Lam bought Lincoln Town cars from this dealer.

The Aspen and its Plymouth counterpart were the most recalled automobiles in US automotive history, which was a great embarrassment to Chrysler. However, that did not stop these models from becoming extremely popular with families as they were reasonably priced and met the need of the motoring public.

The SE or Special Edition was the top-of-the-line Station Wagon and this particular model comes with all the comfort and convenience options, including power brakes, power steering, AM/FM radio, cruise control and 318 cubic-inch V8 engine.

Once a fixture on the highway, these cars disappeared as they were worn out and junked. A testament to their durability.
