1934 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Spider

This Alfa Romeo 8C was imported into the United Kingdom in chassis form in 1933 and delivered to Talbot and Lagonda specialists Fox and Nicholl for its first owner, Lord Ridley, who then owned the car for thirty years until his death in 1964. There is not much known of the original coachwork but it was built to Lord Ridley's personal specification. Lord Ridley later had the car rebuilt in 1947 with a prewar Corsica body. In the 1960s and 1970s, the car was reconditioned and fitted with a Touring-style Le Mans body, while keeping as many of the original panels as possible. Its current owner has used the car on tours and in Veteran Sports Car Club races in Europe and the United States.
