1959 Abarth 750 GT Zagato Navigation
The Abarth 750 GT Zagato, based on the chassis of the Fiat 600, was birth from the pairing of Abarth and Zagato. Carlo Abarth's ability to tune Fiat's low-displacement engines into true pocket-rockers was renowned, and Zagato's ability to create ultra-lightweight coachwork was equally impressive.
This Fiat-Abarth 750 GT 'Double Bubble' Coupe wears an older restoration and wears a racing-inspired blue and white livery complemented by a period-correct suite of badging. The interior is trimmed in blue vinyl with matching carpets. Interior features include competition-spec lap belts, luggage straps, and a dash-mounted rally clock. The high-performance 'GBS' engine has been bored out to approximately 981 cubic centimeters and developed approximately 72 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual transmission and a set of hydraulic drum brakes housed within a correct set of alloy wheels with Abarth center caps wrapped with Pirelli Roadhandler tires.By Daniel Vaughan | Aug 2007
