1989 Ferrari Testarossa Coupe

The Ferrari Testarossa was the star of the 1984 Paris Motor Show, rivaling Lamborghini's Countach in terms of both style and performance. The Testarossa was a dramatic departure from the 512 BBi that preceded it, as its styling was angular and aggressive, yet the design was just as functional as it was attractive. The engine produced 40 more horsepower than that of the 512 BBi, helping the Testarossa accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 5.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 mph. The dramatic 'cheese grater' side strakes ran along the side of the car and helped to channel air into the dual rear-mounted radiators, which kept both the engine and cabin from overheating.

The interior of the Testarossa also saw improvement, becoming more spacious and comfortable over the outgoing model. The car's overall width grew by nearly half a foot, and the wheelbase was lengthened by 2.5 inches.

This car is finished in its original and rare color combination of Blue Chiaro Metallic over Cream leather and shows just over 2,025 original miles. It is believed to have been originally delivered through Ferrari of Houston, and it remained with its original owner in the Houston area until recently.
