1994 Chevrolet S-10 Targa

This 1994 Chevrolet S-10 Prototype was built by General Motors and ASC to test the S-10 T Top Concept. This S-10 was built for the 1994 auto show to market test tops as a S-10 option. When the truck was built over $80,000 was spent and it took 3,000 hours to build. This is the only S-10 built from the factory with T Tops.

Currently, the car has 11,000 miles on the odometer and is in the care of its original owner.

The ASC Chevrolet S10 Targa is based on the all-new extended cab Chevrolet S10. The Targa features dual removable targa panels which stow easily behind the front seats. The Targa roof offers an open-air concept rarely seen in the constantly growing sport truck market. In addition, the Targa is equipped with power quarter windows and a power sliding rear window, which opens with the touch-of-a-button for full, open-air excitement. The interior is further accented by a custom Budnik aluminum steering wheel.

The Targa rides on 17-inch Budnik billet aluminum wheels with 255/50 VR 17 BG Goodrich Comp TA Tires with Bell Tech suspension components and a Borla exhaust system.

The finish is production Dark Cherry Red Metallic with custom painted ASC graphic accents. In addition, a unique grille treatment with composite headlamps has been designed in, offering a unique frontal look.
