1984 Ferrari 308 GT/M Coupe

  • Chassis Number: 001
Just three examples of the Ferrari 308 GT/M were built. Although their racing career was short, the program was an important step in the development and DNA of two of Ferrari's 'supercars' of the 1980s and beyond, particularly the 288 GTO, the 288 GTO Evoluzione, and the F40.

Chassis number 001 has had only three owners from new. It was raced by Jean 'Beurlys' Blaton under the Ecurie Francorchamps banner at local races. The car's third owner continued to improve upon its racing resume and is currently equipped with a full roll cage and fire-suppression system. It has an adjustable suspension and a 6-speed sequential Hewland gearbox (the original Hewland 5-speed still remains with the car).

In 2015, the car was offered for sale at the Rick Cole auction in Monterey, California.
