1984 Chevrolet Corvette C4 Hatchback Coupe

After a year-long hiatus from production, America's Sports Car returned in 1984. They were built in a new, state-of-the-art factory built specifically for the Corvette in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The 1984 Corvette was an all-new vehicle that enjoyed a full redesign for the first time in 15 years and featured molded plastic rear bumpers and panels, advanced electronic instrumentation, and 'uniframe' construction. This new Corvette was good enough to be awarded Motor Trend's Car of the Year.

This particular example was sold new by Taylor McCarty & Sons, Inc., of Wyalusing, Pennsylvania, to Robert J. Ottaviani, of nearby Camptown, on February 25, 1984. It had custom two-tone paint, a glass roof panel, power locks, a six-way power seat, Delco/Bilstein shocks, an engine oil cooler, the Z51 performance handling package, the Doug Nash '4+3' manual transmission, cruise control, a Delco-GM/Bose sound system, a rear-window defogger, and grey cloth adjustable sport bucket seats.

This Corvette has spent most of its life with its original owner and has been driven just 1,485 miles.
