2-Door Sedan
Between 1984 and 1985, approximately 35 examples of the E30 C1 2.3 were produced. Just two of those found their way to the United States as many went to Europe and Japan. They are powered by a modified six-cylinder engine tuned to produce 170 horsepower and 240 NM of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and dual ventilated disc brakes can be found at all four corners. Inside is a Momo steering wheel, wooden shift knob, Alpina speedometer, Alpina identification plates, and Recaro bucket seats. They ride on 16-inch Alpina wheels and feature a front valance along with a rear decklid spoiler. The C1 2.3 could be ordered with an optional 100 liter fuel tank and limited slip differential with cooling ribs and stiffer lid.
