1968 Lola T140

Lola chassis SL140/11 was first purchased by Peter Helferich for the 1968 SCCA Formula A Championship. Dick Jacobs purchased the car for the 1969 season and competed in a number of SCCA Continental Championship races, most notably in the 1969 L&M Championship race at Sebring International Raceway. Jacobs raced the car in SCCA Regional and National events through 1971. The car continued to race through 1997, winning three SCCA Midwestern Division ASR Championships from 1981-1983. The car was then purchased and restored in 2002 by Kurt Hoffman. Paul Dunkley raced it from 2011-2015 in the Tasman Revival Race Series. Paul Kuhl acquired the car in 2016 and placed first in Class A at the 2017 SVRA U.S. Vintage National Championship race in Austin, Texas. The car has since received a full restoration to its 1969 L&M Sebring Championship race, high-wing configuration.
