The 2001 Ford Mustang was available in several trim levels include the Base, GT, and Cobra. Pricing ranged from $17,095 through $32,600. Bodystyles include a coupe and convertible. The standard transmission was a five-speed manual unit with an optional 4-speed automatic available. The base engine was a 3.8-liter V6 offering nearly 200 horsepower. GT Models were fitted with a 4.6-liter V8 with 260 horsepower while the Cobra models had 320 horsepower.
