1996 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Navigation
The 1996 Mercedes-Benz E-Class was a 4-door sedan that was available with a choice of a 3-liter diesel, 3.2-liter inline-6, or a 4.2-liter V8. The E300 came with the diesel, the E320 had the 3.2-liter engine and the E420 had the V8. All three of these trim levels came as a 4-door sedan. A four-speed automatic transmission was standard while the E420 had a five-speed automatic. Disc brakes were at all four corners.
