This car was built in January 1947 as a 1946 model. It was then sent to Lincoln Engineering to the attention of Tom Hibbard the Chief of Design at the time. It was to be customized for a Ford Executive. The customization included 'Special Brown' paint, fabric applied over the metal roof and full moon body colored hub caps. The factory sold the car to Dorothy Wood McAllister, the sister of the renowned wood boat builder and racer, Frank D. Garwood. The current owners acquired the car in 1962. During their stewardship, the car has received a complete restoration in their home shop.
