This 1981 Greenwood is one of only two streetable GTO's ever built. It is the only one with a four-speed transmission. It was built in 1982 on a 1981 chassis. The GTO body style was reported to have been more stable and presented better downforce characteristics than the previous more radical, Daytona body style. This stunning black GTO is finished in a black urethane base coat/clear coat just as applied by the Greenwoods. The red leather interior is excellent and detailed. Equipment on the car includes power steering, power brakes, air conditioning and power windows. The GTO package also includes custom brakes and wheels and tires which gave the GTO its impressive street performance. The balanced and blueprinted original L82 engine and turbo setup are happily nestled in place and produce approximately 450 horsepower. The car has travelled a mere 4,400 miles in its lifetime.
