1949 Daimler DB 18 Navigation
Britain's oldest automobile company, Daimler, was founded in 1896, as an offshoot of the German company that survives today as Daimler-Benz. Their first postwar car was the DB 18, essentially a continuation of their 1939 2.5-liter six-cylinder model. This example wears a handsome three-position drophead body by the venerable English coachbuilder Barker. This car was purchased new by the noted British performer/actress Tessie O'Shea.
