1985 BMW M6 Coupe

Production of the BMW 635CSi enjoyed production lasting into the 1990s and was periodically updated in line with its sister models. The 600 Series made its debut in 1976 and was mechanically similar to the 700-Series saloons and featured an all-independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes and power-assisted steering as standard. The M635CSi version arrived in 1984 with an engine being the development of the M1 supercar's 3.5-liter, 24-valve, six-cylinder unit offering 286 horsepower. The larger engine also brought with it altered weight distribution, revised suspension, bigger brakes, and a limited-slip differential. Outwardly, the 6-Series model was distinguishable by its 'M Technic' body kit.

This M635CSi Euro 2-door Coupe is one of 5,855 examples built, with around 500 of those being produced in 1985. It is finished in its original color scheme of Lapis Blue over blue leather. It is a well-optioned car that was imported from Germany to California in July of 1985 and retained by its first owner until his passing in 2003. It remained in California until 2015 when it moved to Florida.
