2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition Coupe

The 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Special Edition is the ultimate modern high performance Corvette, inspired by the C7R Daytona winning racecar. With a supercharged LT4 engine packing 650 horsepower, it reaches into supercar territory. This example is one of just 650 built, of which 500 were produced for the United States market. This car is the 123rd built and it features a manual transmission. The owner of this car starting pursuing it on the day it was announced to the public on April 24, 2015 at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Under the skin, the C7.R Special Edition is a Corvette Z06 in its upscale 3L2 trim, equipped with the sports car's high-performance Z07 performance Package, an option over the standard model which includes an improved suspension, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and Michelin Pilot Super Cup 2 tires.

From there, the C7.R Special Edition adds a long list of stylish upgrades. This includes the black and yellow wheels, an exposed carbon-fiber hood insert, a black interior with suede seat inserts, competition sport bucket seats, carbon fiber instrument panel trim, and yellow brake calipers. The C7.R model is offered in two exterior colors: black or Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat.
