The 1964 Galaxie XL was the top-of-the-luxury line for the Ford division. That didn't stop the original owner of this convertible from opting for the highest-performance engine available. This 427 cubic-inch 425 horsepower V8 'R' code engine is topped with a pair of 4-barrel carburetors. This is coupled to a four-speed manual transmission, making for one of the hottest cars on the street in 1964.
