1974 Alpine A110 Navigation
This Group IV purpose-built automobile is known as the 'Super Alpine' and with good reason. Juan Carlos Pradera was one of the quickest and most talented drivers of the 1970s and early 1980s in Spain. He showed his exceptional talent the very first time he entered a sanctioned rally in a rather tired Ford Taurus. Soon he would be behind the wheel of one of the finest and most competitive rally cars ever built.
This car was built with one idea in mind; to create the absolute best Alpine ever built. With a 'no expense spared' budget, engineer Enrique Depaz started the project on the design desk. Depaz is known worldwide for his expertise and his dedication to this particular project. His aim was to maintain the best points and improve on other areas. His aim was to maintain the best points and improve on other areas. Weight reduction was emphasized and reinforcement of the chassis was also a high priority.
The current owner of this Alpine acquired it from the renowned Sunsundegui Collection. Consider among enthusiasts as the ultimate Alpine, his desire was to maintain integrity and history. The car was repainted to a very high standard in its original colors and fully serviced before being test driven. After the initial drive, it was confirmed that this historical rally car was certainly ready and capable of returning to the rally world at any time.
