1967 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spyder

In 1966, Ferrari introduced the 275 GTB/4, the first street Ferrari with a twin overhead camshaft V12 engine, adding more horsepower to the 275 GTB. The same year, Luigi Chinetti, the Ferrari importer for the United States, convinced Enzo Ferrari to make a special convertible version of the GTB/4, which was a closed car. Chinetti would be the exclusive seller of the car, and he named it the NART SPyder (with NART referencing the North American Racing Team). Chinetti hoped to sell many of them, but the timing was wrong, so only ten were made and sold - making it one of the rarest of all the street Ferraris.

This is the second Spyder to be finished and one of just two built with an alloy body; the others were all made of steel. The car was tested for the September 1967 issue of Road & Track, which concluded that it was 'The most satisfying sports car in the world.' Its current owner bought it in 1994 and he has driven it on many tours.
