1952 Fiat 1100E Navigation
The very successful Fiat 1100 was first introduced in 1937 and it remained in production for 34 years. In 1952 and 1953 Zagato built about 10 lightweight, alloy-bodied Fiat 1100s for racing as well as concours competitions. All of these special Fiats were made to special order with new coachwork and interiors as well as engine refinements by Carlo Abarth.

This example was delivered in 1952 to its first owner, who was located in Rome. It was only recently discovered, in a rather neglected condition, and completely dismantled. When the current owner restored it, research revealed the original specifications, and the body was repainted in the exact colors that it was first seen with in 1952.
