The post-war lineup of Buick vehicles - like most other automakers - was based on pre-war designs. In the immediate years after the war, they were given mild restyling. Harley Earl supervised the styling and treated the vehicles to fade-away front fenders, restrained bright-trim accents, and broad grilles.
This particular Super Convertible has been given a body-off restoration and finished in two-tone color scheme of Aztec Green and Allandale Green, an originally available option. It is equipped with a manual transmission mated to an overhead valve eight-cylinder engine displacing 248 cubic inches and offering 115 horsepower. It has a push-button radio with a windshield-mounted aerial, a new set of chrome wire wheels with radial tires, silver-tone instrumentation, and a power-operated top.
