1963 Maserati Sebring I Navigation
Maserati produced 348 examples of the Series I Sebrings. This particular example was delivered new to Genoa, Italy, on January 14th of 1963 to Sig. Olivia. It is believed it left the factory in Grigio Montebello paint with black leather seats. It rode on Borrani 16-inch wire wheels and was fitted with a ZF five-speed manual gearbox. The first known American ownership traces back to 1979 with Howard Gibson of Mountain Valley, California. Ownership passed in 1983 to Eugene O'Gorman of Fremont, California. Mr. O'Gorman kept the car for 22 years before selling it to Vince Vanelli of Lafayette, California, who sold it to the current owner.
This car is powered by its original matching-number 3.5-liter motor. The current owner changed the stock Lucas mechanical fuel injection system to three Weber carburetors. The original fuel injection system still remains with the cars.By Daniel Vaughan | Sep 2016
