1981 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 40 SUV

This Toyota is an FJ43 Land Cruiser. The FJ43 was slightly longer than the FJ40 and were fewer examples made it to the United States. This example was used in South America by an energy company for most of its life.

The current owner treated the SUV to a restoration in early-2016. During the restoration, it was upgraded with several new features, such as an aluminum radiator, custom roll cage and soft top, leather Corbeau MOAB seats, and a custom fire-extinguishing system. Upgrades also include Old Man Emu suspension, a five-speed gearbox, and LED headlights.

The engine is a 4228cc overhead valve six-cylinder unit fitted with a single Aisin carburetor and offering 135 horsepower. There is a five-speed manual gearbox, 2-speed transfer case, and four-wheel drive. Disc brakes are in the front and Servo-assisted hydraulic drums are at the rear.
