1930 Cord L-29 Navigation
The beautiful flowing classic lines and front wheel drive with the transmission forward of the engine make the Cord one of the most outstanding automobiles ever produced in the US. The shifter lever is located on the dash panel.
The L-29 Cord was a front-drive car introduced by Errett L. Cord to help bridge the gap existing between his line of Auburn and Duesenberg cars. It was heavily advertised before its introduction by ads frankly targeted to 'those who can afford it'. Its design was hailed by critics on both sides of the Atlantic, but its chances for commercial success ended with the stock market crash and subsequent depression.
